Diese Position untersteht:
IAPI Service Midwest Region Operations M Join ABB as a Service Technician and play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting ABB’s Quality Control System (QCS) at client sites. You’ll be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on our proprietary hardware and software, assisting with upgrades and installations, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role is a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving, and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot ABB QCS hardware and software, including sensors, electrical/mechanical components, and control software. Serve as a trusted contact for customer inquiries, helping resolve service issues and strengthening client relationships. Support emergency service requests on a 24/7 rotation basis. Document maintenance activities and contribute to new installations and upgrades. Adhere to safety and HSE policies in all operations.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience in electrical/electronics or process control; or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience. Skilled in using electrical test equipment (voltmeters, multi-meters). Mechanical/electrical aptitude and understanding of electrical safety. Familiarity with electrical drawings and troubleshooting up to 240 VAC/870 VDC systems. Basic knowledge of papermaking and DCS programming is a plus. Valid US work authorization; no visa sponsorship provided.
