Service Technician Air Heaven, LLC Goldsboro, NC Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC systems to identify issues. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical problems within the systems. Perform plumbing tasks as needed to support HVAC installations. Operate service vehicles efficiently as a van driver to transport tools and equipment to job sites. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician in the HVAC field or related industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various HVAC systems. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other relevant equipment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Willingness to continuously learn about new technologies and techniques in the HVAC industry.
