The Service Technician is responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing water treatment equipment (reverse osmosis, deionization water systems, general water treatment equipment) at customer locations throughout New England. The Service Technician is also responsible for the operation of in-house process equipment. All team members are expected to exemplify these values in the field, in the office, and in daily interactions with team members. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Possess knowledge of the regeneration process or be willing to learn.
• Regen customer and company owned resin/vessels
• Perform system service & trouble shooting on our regen skid
• Work closely with service manager/scheduling to meet regen timeline
• Build/assemble new vessels
• Operation of in-house process equipment
• Shipping and receiving
• Prepare materials for technicians according to the schedule/work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Ability to prepare accurate and complete paperwork.
• Occasionally deliver and pick up vessels driving a box truck.
• The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with plumbing experience a plus.
• Field service experience is a plus, even if not related to water treatment
• Training will be provided for specific applications, equipment, water testing and other aspects of this job.
• Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
• Will be placed into 24/7 on call rotation after completion of training.
• Perform system service & trouble shooting on customer sites o Replacing water filters o Replacing UV lamps o Cleaning and replacing reverse osmosis membranes o Exchanging DI tanks o Rebed media tanks o Water testing o System sanitizations

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate and interact well with customers as well as co-workers and manager(s).
• A valid driver’s license with a record in good standing is required for this position.
• Must be able to obtain a medical card to drive company box truck (DOT requirement).
• Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 70 pounds.
• Some nights, weekends and holidays are required.
• Some travel is required as needed.
• Forklift certification preferred

$25.00 – $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
