POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects of customer returns for repair and calibration. Tasks may include troubleshooting to component level on a variety of fiber optic test & measurement equipment, primarily Fusion Splicers and their accessories. Upon completion of repair perform procedure to calibrate equipment to manufactures’ specifications. On the job training will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose and repair electronic/fiber optics equipment using hand tools and schematics. Perform routine maintenance and service on various devices to ensure optimal performance. Utilize computer hardware skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Collaborate with team members to analyze problems and develop effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

High School Diploma is a minimum. AAS in EET or related field, or equivalent experience is strongly encouraged.
