The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sewer systems, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety standards. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work in diverse environments. Responsibilities Install and maintain sewer lines and related infrastructure. Operate heavy equipment such as loaders and rigs for excavation and installation purposes. Perform utility locating to ensure safe digging practices. Conduct fiber splicing and cabling tasks as needed for sewer system upgrades. Utilize hand tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. Climb into trenches or rigging to access sewer lines for maintenance or inspection. Adhere to safety protocols while working around high voltage areas. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with utility locating techniques is a plus. Strong understanding of cabling, fiber splicing, and electrical systems is advantageous. Ability to climb, rig, and work in various environmental conditions. Proficient in using hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
