Join a close-knit, high-retention team at a well-established environmental consulting and contracting firm that specializes in maintaining and servicing petroleum bulk storage tanks across the New York Metro area! We’re seeking a Service Technician•Petroleum Storage Tanks to join our field team based out of Bay Shore, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in the field, visit a variety of job sites, and build a long-term career with opportunities for growth, all while working alongside skilled professionals who value collaboration and teamwork. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Service Technician•Petroleum Storage Tanks position include: 3-5 years of experience in a related field such as low voltage electrical work, HVAC, or plumbing Experience with petroleum storage tanks or similar systems preferred OSHA 10 certification and/or Confined Space Entry certification is a plus Strong independent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills Must be comfortable uploading field reports and navigating company software systems Clean driving record with ability to operate a company vehicle Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC-related tasks in the field Travel locally to various job sites and work in teams of two to complete service and repair tasks
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 7:00 AM•4:00 PM (Depending on projects)
Salary:
$20.00•$30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
