Wind Travel or Repair Technician III This is a remote, hourlyposition requiring 100% travel across North East. With overtime,travel, and supplemental earnings, the Repair Technicians have thepotential to earn over $100,000 per year. Position Overview As a Repair Technician, you’ll play a criticalrole in supporting wind energy operations across multiple sites andprojects. Whether assisting with service work or constructionefforts, you’ll bring your skills and adaptability to where they’reneeded most. Backed by Vestas training and qualifications, you’llhelp ensure that teams are equipped and projects stay ontrack-delivering clean, reliable energy to communities everywhere.

Your flexibility and commitment are key to powering progress, nomatter your background in wind, electrical, mechanical, or fieldoperations. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintainwind turbines with your team.
  • Travel to different sites, workwith diverse teams, and engage with varied experiences, includingtravel management and cost coding.
  • Conduct safety inspections andensure a secure working environment.
  • Address advancedproblem-solving tasks with effective self-management.
  • Work onconstruction and installation projects, overseeing the full lifecycle of turbines.
  • This role offers exposure to a wide range ofturbine platforms, site conditions, and team environments-ideal fortechnicians who thrive on variety and continuous learning Who YouAre
  • Minimum 3 years of wind experience, including work with heavyequipment and cranes. Flexible, and mobile for travel. Task BasedCertification (TBC) Level 300 or willingness to obtain.
  • Highlydeveloped problem-solving abilities and an engaged approach toresponsibilities.
  • Safety-conscious and a role model for bestpractices, with advanced knowledge of energy isolation and riskmitigation.
  • A collaborative team player who mentors others andleads by example.
  • Ability to speak, read and follow instructionsin English.
  • Physically fit, comfortable working at heights and invarying conditions, with a high school diploma (or equivalent),valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.

Salary & Career Growth We offer attractivepay packages, performance bonuses, and opportunities to supportyour professional development. The base pay salary range for thisposition is 30 to 35 /hr., with potential for additional variablecompensation. Pay will be determined based on experience andqualifications.   • Ability to standand walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Hearing ability to usetelephones, close range radios or related device.

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch orcrawl as needed, as well as hand-eye coordination and manualdexterity.
  • Ability to climb stairs & vertical ladders to heightsof 60 to 100 meters and at times supervise work in confined spaceenvironments.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to, butnot more than 50 lbs. in weight.
  • Ability to observe training andobtain certification in required safety programs that include LOTO,Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High Angle Rescue &Emergency Decent, and Confined Space.
  • Ability to successfullyparticipate in all training courses, including controlled decentpractical exercises.
  • Due to design parameters of fall protectionequipment, the combined weight of prospective employee, requiredPPE and gear shall not exceed 300 lbs.
