Sewer & Drain Cleaning Technician John Kline Septic Services, LLC Mount Joy, PA 17552 John Kline Septic Services , a family-owned business with 65 years of history, is looking for a Sewer & Drain Cleaning Technician to join the team. This position will act as the ‘face’ of the company and is responsible for driving and operating a company service vehicle to service residential and commercial sewer and drain lines with use of cables, jetters, and sewer cameras. This position is also responsible for pumping and cleaning grease traps. Key Responsibilities of the

Sewer & Drain Cleaning Tech:

SAFETY FIRST

Follow all safety rules in accordance with John Kline Septic Services, DOT, and OSHA requirements Safely operate the company vehicle to and from customer locations, including pre-tip and post-trip maintenance Responsible to service and repair sewer and drain lines for both residential and commercial customers Provide service with use of cable machines, sewer jetters, sewer cameras, and CIPP lining equipment Diagnose and explain reasoning for blockages and recommended repairs Maintain drain cleaning equipment and tools Pump out, clean, and inspect grease traps/ grease interceptors Provide exceptional customer service with each interaction Completes timely and accurate reports of service, logs and time sheets

Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record At least 18 years of age No DUI, DWI, Reckless Driving charges with last 5 years. All accident and violations are subject to investigation

Preferred Skills:

Experience installing/ repairing effluent and wastewater pumps is a plus Ability to be trained on how septic systems, grease traps, and pump stations operate Be able to lift at least 100 lbs and dig up to 12 inches. Duties will include digging up the manhole cover(s) when applicable, dragging hoses, and lifting manhole covers Must have clear written and oral communication Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service to every customer Ability to work independently Ability to be trained on rules and regulations regarding waste disposal High School diploma; additional certification is a plus What we offer: Health insurance: 100% coverage for employees!
