Reference #: 704900060This position is responsible for the stacking process for a rewind transformer. Hours are Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:30amDay to day this role includes:
Using a caliper and tape measure to create precise measurement which are used in the rewind process.
Using a series of hand tools to complete the stacking of core steel.
Cutting transformer lidsBasic data entry into labor system (MOM)Practicing safe behaviors by wearing proper protective equipment when handling core steel.
May operate overhead crane or forklift as necessary.
Must be willing and able to complete repetitive processes and stand for 8-10 hours a day.
Cross train on set up, and teardown as neededOther duties as assignedHigh School or GED preferredOSHA10 certified, preferred1 year experience in paint manufacturing, preferred1 year experience material handling equipment (forklift, crane, etc.), preferredKnowledge of basic hand tools preferredA proven track record in safety excellence is required.
Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Meet department and production goals set by supervisor.
Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.
Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.

Ability to learn other department job functions and fill in as needed.
Complete company compliance and safety training when required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
