EPA Certification Full Job Description Job Overview:
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing field service and performing repairs on a variety of appliances and equipment. Workload includes, HVAC, cooking equipment, refrigeration equipment, exhaust systems, plumbing, electrical, facilities and preventive maintenance. This is a full-time position that requires a valid driver’s license, ability to be insured as a driver, and the ability to work with little supervision.
Duties:
Conduct service calls to diagnose and repair appliances and equipment Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various systems Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components Utilize schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs Collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction and provide excellent customer service Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Experience:
Previous experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role Strong knowledge of appliance repair, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals Experience with property maintenance or building systems is a plus Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately Strong attention to detail to perform precise repairs Effective communication skills to interact with customers professionally Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Maintain and account for all truck stock inventory, including the accurate charging and billing of items used for repair Complete all administrative requirements of the position in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
Must be EPA certified Must be able to pass a background check Must have experience with HVAC including trouble shooting and repairs Must have experience with kitchen equipment Must have valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Schedule:
Usually an 8-hour shift, Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
