We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our growing team. Position Overview:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of residential pool equipment. This includes pumps, filters, heaters, salt chlorine generators, automation systems, and more. You will travel to customer locations, providing on-site service and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of their pool systems.

Responsibilities:

Travel to residential customer locations to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pool equipment. Perform necessary repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, including pumps, motors, filters, heaters, valves, and plumbing components. Conduct routine maintenance on pool equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent future problems. Install new pool equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Troubleshoot and repair electrical components related to pool equipment. Educate customers on proper pool equipment operation and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used. Manage inventory of necessary tools and parts in your service vehicle. Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. Communicate effectively with customers and office staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in servicing and repairing residential pool equipment. Strong working knowledge of various pool equipment brands, with a preference for experience with Hayward systems. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment Basic understanding of pool chemistry. EPA certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
