This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Job Purpose Provide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services, in the assigned area against profitable margins and in line with the business plan, in order to contribute to the realization of service-related sales and service targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization
Administration of the invoices from customers, by approving and coding warranty claims, sales policy claims and customer usage credits
Assist in the analysis in ensuring the warranty budget is met
Analyze and track trends in warranty
Work directly with Engineering and Quality to ensure Quality products
Answer warranty inquiries for each product line
Exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters
Lead projects to solve warranty issues at customer sites
Troubleshoot customer field issues with installed charger & battery systems
Maintain positive relationships with customers through incident resolution
This job has the potential at some locations to Work with Sales and Technical departments to manage processes to resolve customer issues with EnerSys related products on site including Warranty issues and chargeable issues
Produce, analyze and maintain the necessary documentation to deliver reports and outcomes to both internal and external customers
Work closely with Field Service Engineers to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met and communicated in a timely manner
This position could require occasional travel to customer sites
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Must have basic English language skills to enable written and spoken communication with managers, co-workers, and auditors
Must have basic math skills
Strong customer service skills
Need strong reasoning abilities
Must be familiar with Access and Excel and Microsoft applications and office equipment
Must be able to operate a cell phone
Strong communication skills a must
Must have adequate knowledge of BaaN/ERP System and product and SAP knowledge is strongly desired
4 year Bachelor Degree and/or 2-5 years’ experience in the technical field or a combination of education and industry experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in industry
BaaN and ERP system knowledge
SAP experience is strongly desired.
