$40.7K – $52.3K a year 22 hours ago Qualifications Operating systems Mid-level Project management Computer skills Pallet jack Communication skills Time management Full Job Description Job Summary The DEMO Shop Repair Technician is responsible for addressing various guitar issues ranging from basic to expert level repairs. This role is a blend of craftsmanship, quality, and creativity. The DEMO Shop team is highly dependent on the efficient contribution of every team member; thus, this is a highly skilled role for the team and their commitment to industry standard service and quality. Essential Functions Main duties Structural Repairs (Electric and Acoustic) Evaluating guitar needs and creating internal repair orders Guitar teardown and rebuild Thorough guitar setups Electronics repair Intermediate finish repair Spot buffing as needed Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Proficient guitar playing experience a plus (Required for some work stations) Experience safely handling guitars Troubleshooting/Problem solving/Critical thinking skills regarding instrument construction and functionality Finish repair experience is preferred Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision Required Education and Experience Ability to be a great team member; supporting peers and creating a healthy work environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Solutions oriented approach to challenges/issues Essential Knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills.
