Job Summary:

Express Employment is seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter with working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems to join our team. This role involves the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials, as well as performing basic electrical and plumbing tasks as needed on job sites or property maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct, install, and repair frameworks, structures, and fixtures (doors, windows, floors, cabinetry, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to meet project specifications Perform minor electrical tasks such as running wire, installing fixtures, switches, and outlets Conduct basic plumbing tasks including installing and repairing pipes, fittings, toilets, and sinks Inspect and identify required repairs in structural, electrical, or plumbing systems Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Adhere to all safety standards and building codes

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a carpenter with additional hands-on experience in electrical and plumbing work High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is a plus Knowledge of construction, installation, and repair techniques Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations Ability to read technical documents and blueprints Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Physical stamina and manual dexterity Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Certifications (not required):

OSHA 10/30

Certification Electrical or Plumbing Certification NCCER or similar trade credentials
