PURPOSE OF POSITION

Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting ofcomputer hardware and software applications whileperforming/assisting the repair process. Responsible for ensuringproduct quality through repairing and testing of product to ensurespecifications are met. Documents issues, and reports potentialquality related problems to quality management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Repair or replace parts as necessary forservers.
  • Use of tools and test equipment of various types, torepair servers.
  • Disassembles and/or reassembles units accordingto the applicable work instructions.
  • Orders correct parts usingthe proper procedures.
  • Tests units according to work instructionsand process flows.
  • Responsible for inspecting products to ensureit is labeled correctly.
  • Responsible for completing applicablepaperwork completely and accurately.
  • Responsible for enteringrepair data accurately into the QMS shop floor system.
  • Documentand communicate repair issues to engineering.
  • Data Collection andanalysis for use in problem solving.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Six (6)months to one (1) year technical repair experience in a relatedfield required.
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year experience indebugging and testing of electro mechanical assemblies a plus.
  • APlus Certification a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Able to identify potential qualityrelated problems quickly and concisely.
  • Computer literate in aWindows Environment; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.
  • Maintain cooperative, working relationships with co-workers,supervisor, and management.
  • Work as part of the team andcollaborate with co-workers and colleagues.
  • Responsible forreading, understanding and following all Work Instructions (WI’s)for each function performed.
  • Works in compliance with safety andall other training.
  • Adheres to and supports QMN’s CorporatePolicies and Procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean andsafe work environment by identifying all safety hazards andrecommending corrective actions when necessary.

  • Ability to recognize defects or flaws in routineparts and/or products.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to lift up to 50pounds.
  • Good visual color perception.
  • Able to stand, stoop andbend.
  • Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for longperiods.
