Service Technician A&W Compressor and Mechanical Service, Inc. Maynardville, TN 37807 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of various equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. Diagnose issues with compressed air systems, refrigeration air dryer units, and appliances. Perform repairs on mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively. Weld and fabricate parts as needed for equipment repair or modification. Build and install new equipment according to specifications. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Skills Proficiency in compressed air systems and compressed air drying technology. Strong mechanical skills with experience in equipment repair. Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints. Knowledge of design principles related to mechanical systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A proactive approach to safety practices in all aspects of work. Prior experience in the compressor industry is a plus with Atlas Copco, Sullair, Ingersoll Rand, Quincy, Kaeser, Joy, Champion and Gardner Denver compressors. Must have a valid DL and clean driving record.
