Responsibilities:
The Field Technician is responsible for installing and servicing our leading Feed Bin Monitoring devices across the US. Our company is experiencing significant growth, so there will be frequent travel (paid) to animal producer locations (chicken and swine) across the US. This role is a vital part of our Operations team and will report to the NA Service Manager. Installing our devices is simple. They attach to the lip of the feed bin opening with a bolt on a bracket using a flathead screwdriver. We don’t service our devices in the field, so the work is always simply swapping devices and connecting them through our app on your phone. Participate in weekly team meetings to review the weekly install and service plan Utilize our software to accept and complete work orders Contact customers to arrange logistics Book your travel utilizing our company travel platform Travel to customer locations and install bin monitor devices
Qualifications:
Problem solver, organized, works autonomously, reliable and trustworthy, good communication skills Comfortable climbing and working at heights (20′) while tethered with a safety harness Comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time across the US Can utilize software and comfortable traveling Great attitude and representation of the company. This position interacts with customers as part of the installation and service process.
