• The opportunity
• We are seeking motivated, experienced Satellite Teleport Technicians for our US Teleport in Southbury – CT.

The Satellite Technician supports the operations and maintenance of a satellite communications Teleport, including assistance to the engineering staff, field service engineers and end user customers worldwide. This role is part of a team that works in rotating Shifts based on a 24/7 environment.

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• It is required that the applicant have education/training in any one of the following an Associates Degree, Trade Degree/Certification, or equivalent in technology.

2-4 years of experience in satellite or network operations, and earth station installation and/or maintenance.

US military training Certificate of Training in any of the following, or similar, areas of technology.o Satellite Communications System Operator/Maintainero Radio Frequency Transmission Systemso Electronics Techniciano Radio Operationso Radar Systems Technician/Operator/Maintainero Avionic Communications or Navigationo Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL)
