Field Technician Job Description Join our team as a Field Technician, where you will be responsible for installing CO2 monitors at current customer sites. This role involves light, low-voltage work similar to fire alarm installation, using CAT 5 cabling. This position is essential due to new regulations concerning CO2. You will work with various clients, including restaurants and gas stations, ensuring monitors are directly connected to systems. Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to install CO2 monitors. Perform light low-voltage installations using CAT 5 cabling. Ensure monitors are properly integrated with existing systems. Communicate effectively and politely with customers. Document site visits and installations for daily reporting. Essential Skills Experience in construction, facilities maintenance, or handyman work. Competency in cable installation and mechanical tasks. Ability to work independently with honesty and integrity. Additional Skills & Qualifications Low voltage or light electrical experience is a plus. Handy DIY skills are beneficial. Experience with work-related driving is helpful. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work primarily at new or existing construction sites, such as restaurants and gas stations. The role requires independence, with minimal field management, and necessitates documenting daily activities. Start your day by picking up supplies at the shop before heading to customer sites. Shifts typically run from 7am to 3pm, with the possibility of starting as early as 6:30am on some days. Flexibility to work extra hours as needed is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Myers, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
