The Service Coordinator must be able to travel and work independently as you will have to travel up to 40% of the time. Proficiency in English; other languages (Spanish) will be a plus. How You’ll Make an Impact Ensure that jobs are staffed appropriately and that the technicians understand length of assignment and responsibility of the job. Complete and maintain required and accurate documentation and records associated with the performed activities. Coordinate and ensure that the technicians receive the proper training and equipment needed for assignments. Manage inventory of supplies, including purchasing of tools, equipment and PPE. Maintain constant communication with customers to ensure that jobs completed by Technicians are done satisfactorily to customers’ needs. Address and resolve any issues or concerns with employees and customer. Audit customer sites and visit technicians to ensure customer and company needs are being met and that safety procedures are adhered to. Perform audits, risk assessments and incident investigations which identify and take account of all relevant hazards in collaboration with the H&S department. Promote culture of continuous health and safety improvement and to share good practice across the company. Approve Technicians’ weekly timesheets and ensure Technicians complete timesheets appropriately. Ability to provide cost-efficient Technical Assistance by optimizing labor hours, spare parts, and other costs. Provide Technical Assistance to field for incidents of level 3 or of high importance Provide all-level product trainings to customers, contractors and interested parties. Coordination with the Engineering department and other areas within the company for improvements requests and retrofits What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred not required 5+ years’ experience preferred in the Maintenance Service sector, including Renewable Energy Projects or other energy related operations and maintenance industries preferred. Demonstrate knowledge of the US renewable energy market, including EH&S regulations and experience coordinating the work of a remote team of Field or Service Technicians preferred Knowledge of communication networks, cooling systems, power electronics, interpretation of electrical diagrams, MV equipment, electrical switchgear, able to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures and regulations. Must have excellent problem-solving, customer service, Microsoft Office, management, leadership and organizational skills Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
