Job Description
Experienced Low Voltage Installer Retail Security Group Boca Raton, FL 33487 Retail Security Group is a national supplier and servicer of retail anti-theft systems. We are looking for experienced installers to install and service Retail Anti-theft Systems throughout the United States. Installers will travel to retail locations and install or service new and refurbished low voltage anti-theft systems. This includes pulling/running wire, checking electrical requirements, and troubleshooting environmental conditions. A successful Installer/Technician will have the following : Experience running and pulling wire. Experienced with using hand and power tools: hammer drill, sanders, and grinders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills; basic electronics and/or audio/video knowledge is helpful. Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity. Ability to stand for long periods of time on a ladder, lift over 40 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, and work in all climates. High school diploma or GED required; college or technical/vocational school a plus. Clean driving record a requirement. We provide hands-on and on-the-job training as well as a tools and uniforms. Our Installers/Technicians are responsible for multiple customer visits daily which could include completing site surveys and installing or servicing equipment. There is a lot of overtime available and Installers may be required to travel for up to 1 week at a time. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories : Conduct Site Survey
- determine the best positioning of our equipment for strongest signal reception. Equipment Installation
- Mounting, wiring, and tuning of EAS products. Equipment Service
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with electric and/or EAS products Customer Education
- Reviewing functionality of EAS equipment and teaching proper usage techniques. Inventory
- maintain accurate inventory and equipment for installations, service calls or trouble tickets. Warehouse
- Assist in testing and refurbishing of used equipment, order fulfilment, and other general warehouse work. Travel
- Once trained you may be required to travel for up to 1 week at a time. Overtime
