Field Technician Parking Guidance Systems LLC Atlanta, GA 30332 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various networking systems and equipment in the field. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking and hands-on experience with cabling and fiber splicing. The Field Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are operational and efficient. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain computer networking systems at client locations. Perform network installation tasks including cabling, fiber splicing, and low voltage work. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters for testing and troubleshooting. Provide field service support to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network performance. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Document all service calls, installations, and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction. Skills Proficiency in computer networking concepts and practices. Experience with network installation processes, including cabling and fiber splicing. Familiarity with low voltage systems and associated tools. Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Knowledge of field service best practices in a technical environment. Competence in using an ohmmeter for testing electrical connections. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients effectively. A background as a service technician is a plus but not mandatory.
