Drop Bury Technician Vonalas McComb, MS 39649 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure and telecommunications, with hands-on experience in cabling, fiber splicing, and the use of various tools. This role involves working with both WAN and Ethernet systems, ensuring the installation and maintenance of telecommunication systems meet industry standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including WAN and Ethernet systems. Read and interpret schematics to execute installation plans accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Perform fiber splicing and ensure proper connections for optimal network performance. Operate bucket trucks for aerial installations and maintenance as required. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Document work completed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs. Experience Proven experience in telecommunications or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with network infrastructure components and cabling techniques is essential. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and bucket trucks safely in a work environment. Knowledge of fiber splicing techniques is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
