End of May Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and motivated internet installation technicians to work as independent 1099 contractors on Spectrum projects in Raleigh, Wilmington, and Fayetteville, NC. The work involves both coaxial and fiber optic cable installations. If you are reliable, skilled, and ready to work — we want you on our team.
Responsibilities:
Install and activate internet and TV services (modems, ONTs, set-top boxes, etc.) Perform both coax and fiber optic cabling, including indoor and outdoor runs Handle wall drilling, mounting, ladder work, and customer interaction Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity or installation issues Use mobile app to receive, complete, and close jobs in real time
Requirements:
Previous experience in telecommunications is required (Spectrum, Comcast, AT&T, etc.) Must have a Samsung phone (S23fe or S24fe or newer (not+ not ultra or anything else, they won’t work) running Android Own reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 28-ft ladder (pickup truck or van preferred) Must have your own tools, including: Power drill Compression tool 28-ft ladder Basic hand tools (knife, level, screwdrivers, etc.) Comfortable working at heights and performing outdoor installs Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
