Field Technician located in the Southeastern US area. Must be open to travel though much of our work is done in the Eastern NC/SC region. The
BDA/ERCES
Field Technician will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA) and Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES). The role involves conducting site surveys, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The technician will collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects. Additional duties may include preparing documentation, providing customer support, and staying updated on industry advancements. Preferred Qualifications Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of communication systems, specifically BDA and ERCES Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards related to communication systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation Relevant certifications in communication systems installation and maintenance are a plus Required Qualifications Familiar and comfortable working on active construction sites Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools Strong troubleshooting and site survey skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and on-site High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation If you meet the required qualifications please respond to this post with your resume attached (or detailed work experience) AND a working phone number.
