Job Summary:
The Field Operative position provide boots on the ground projectoversight and support while acting as the eyes and ears for thecompany’s Customer management. Field Operative(s) will providesupplier oversight management and act as a single point of contactfor the Customer while onsite. The Field Operative is responsiblefor working in conjunction with the Project Manager to coordinateactivities performed by both internal employees and our externalsuppliers in the field while ensuring the highest standards ofSafety, Quality, and Operational Excellence. Field Operatives will work multiple project locations across thecontinental United States. This position is 100% travel. Assignmentof the Field Operatives to site locations will be directed by theCustomer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Represents Customer in a professional manner while onsite.
- Ability to work alongside and coordinate with externalcontractors and logistics providers.
- Attend kickoff meetings for assigned projects, as well as anymeetings pertaining to the project.
- Provide support to customer/ project needs. (Inspections,coordination, HSE, Reporting).
- Monitor project progress daily and report to management.
- Relay any customer feedback/updates during projectexecution.
- Ensure Project Timecards (if applicable) and expenses are undercorrect project allocation and accurate.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current state issued driver’s license with acceptable drivinghistory.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levelsof an organization.
- Ability to use an assigned laptop and utilize MicrosoftApplications (Outlook, Teams, Excel). Will be trained in Customer’sinternal logistics software.
- Previous Quality Control/Quality Assurance experiencedesired.
- Valid driver’s license.
- The following certifications are desired but not a requirement:
OSHA 10 / 30
Fire Prevention & Planning Material Handling CPR/AED/First Aid Rail Safety Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, bend, twist, push, pull, climb ladders, lift50lbs or more.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Proficiency taking and uploading photos.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
- Work in all types of weather conditions; outside for extendedperiods of time.
