Telecommunication Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve RF interference and wireless communication disruptions. Perform field installation, maintenance, and service of RF and IT network equipment. Troubleshoot radio/cellular coverage issues and base station/repeater connectivity. Identify and mitigate illegal jamming and other sources of interference. Provide technical guidance to public safety agencies on RF interference response. Maintain and optimize RF and broadband systems, including software-driven electronics. Perform server hardware/software maintenance and network troubleshooting. Use diagnostic tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, watt meters, FDRs) for system testing. Document maintenance activities and provide weekly performance reports Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Project Management teams.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree In an IT related Field and 3-7 years of experience in RF communications, wireless systems, or related fields. Strong understanding of RF interference, LMR, LTE, GPS, and wireless technologies. Proficiency in computer networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls). Hands-on experience with client communications systems and diagnostic tools. Electronics training (2 years technical trade/military school) + 2 years field experience. Strong communication, self-management, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and respond to after-hours service calls. Job Requirement
