Mobile Device Specialist / Remote Site Technician The 21st Century Energy Group / Reed Oil 511 Montgomery Avenue, New Castle, PA 16102 Mobile Device Specialist / Remote Site Technician The Mobile Device Specialist focuses on assisting office personnel and other IT staff installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and updating a wide array of devices used in our fueling industry. These devices include but are not limited to, delivery truck tablets and peripherals, truck meters, tank monitors, fuel pumping station hardware, truck GPS, on-board cameras, and general office hardware. In addition, the Remote Site Technician would be responsible for periodic remote site visits to perform and record inspections, and ensure the site is in working order. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist IT department to repair, replace, and upgrade fueling system hardware and software
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and electrical problems
- Assist the IT department with on-site remote issues
- Support delivery drivers with delivery tablet issues and troubleshooting
- Install, Configure, Troubleshoot, and Update fuel tank monitors
- Conduct and Record Residential and Commercial Tank Inspections
- Assist in other special projects and site updates as needed Skills and Specifications General computer hardware and software knowledge General 12v and 110v electrical knowledge Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
Effective communication skills in writing and verbal. Exceptionally good team player and should work well under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android, and Apple devices Willing to learn and adapt with changes in technology Education and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2-3 years’ experience in similar role Valid driver’s license required

$20.00 – $25.00 per hour
