Wireless Tech I Position Available In Montgomery, Pennsylvania

• Job Summary:

• The Wireless Tech I will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless communication systems and equipment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and looking to grow their careers in the wireless communications field. Bucket Truck & Climbing Exp. Preferred.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and configuration of wireless communication systems, including antennas, routers, and repeaters.
• Installing antenna & wireless equipment at heights from 40
• 400′ on towers, poles and other structures.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on wireless network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support the testing and validation of wireless signals and performance metrics.
• Work collaboratively with senior technicians to identify and resolve technical issues reported by customers.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures while on-site at customer locations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies and industry trends.
• Provide excellent customer service and support during onsite visits and over the phone.

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, LTE, etc.).
• Familiarity with networking concepts and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience or internships in the telecommunications or IT fields.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools and software.
• Certifications related to wireless technology (e.g., CWNA, CCNA) are a plus.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions.
