As a Spectrum FieldTechnician, you’re the face of Spectrum’s products and services. Inthis entry level role, we will equip you with the proper trainingthat will allow you to work efficiently in the field. Undersupervision, your daily interactions will be customer facing, asyou install and repair services for our customers and educate themon proper use of their Spectrum services and equipment. You willperform basic to installations, disconnects, downgrades, andupgrades for residential customers, all while providing world-classcustomer service. The Field Technician will also be trained tocomplete reconnects.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TOSPECTRUM
Required Qualifications Education:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent workexperience Technical skills: Problem solver with a technical aptitude,computer and software application use. Accurately measuredistances, using measuring tape. Work with hand tools.
Skills:
Communication, professionalism, time management,organization, critical thinking, responsible/reliable.
Abilities:
Interpret analytics from soft tools such as metersand handheld devices. Troubleshooting. Read, write, and speak theEnglish language.
Physical:
Ability to walk over all types of terrain in allkinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment. Ability tosafely use weight-bearing equipment within the maximum weightlimitations of that equipment (345 lbs). Ability to lift up to 90lbs and climb ladders to a height of 32 feet Working in confinedspaces and at heights. Safely operate and navigate a companyvehicle in constant changing environments. Ability to work withsmall components and wires. Ability to work outside for extendedperiods in any season and/or during inclement weather. Valid Driver’s license with satisfactory driving record withincompany standards required. Ability to travel (including duringinclement weather) to and from assigned territories and companyfacilities.
