Marine Outboard Technician Southern Mud Sports, LLC Waverly, AL 36879
We’re Hiring:
Experienced Marine & Powersports Technician Southern Mud Sports is looking for a skilled technician with strong experience in marine outboard engines. If you’re confident working on Yamaha, Tohatsu, Mercury, just to name a few outboards — and can also handle mowers, side-by-sides, and ATVs — we’d love to hear from you. You should also be comfortable working on other brands as needed. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their stuff and can work independently. Please only apply if you have solid outboard experience.
What You’ll Work On:
Diagnosing and repairing outboard motors (Yamaha, Tohatsu, Mercury, just to name a few) Servicing mowers and small engines (Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton) Repairs and maintenance on ATVs and side-by-sides Prepping new units, basic assembly, and inspections
What We’re Looking For:
Strong mechanical background with a focus on outboard motors Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues without oversight Experience with small engines (mowers, ATVs, UTVs) is a bonus Comfortable working on all brands as needed Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage your own workflow Positive attitude and a team player
