Nauti-Tech is a Marine Electrical & Electronics company servicing yachts since 1999, and seeking experienced marine technicians to join our family. Nauti-Tech offers great benefits and opportunities to grow within our company. Driven individuals are appreciated and rewarded. The position is based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and primarily services Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties. Company vehicles are provided. Typical Pay Range (Based on skills/experience): $30-$50/hr
Schedule & Benefits:
Monday through Friday starting at 8am8-hour work days excluding lunch time40 hours per weekOvertime is paid 1.5 times the standard hourly rate401k with 3% salary company contribution100% paid health and dental insurance6 paid holidaysPaid vacation (1, 2, or 3 weeks based on employment time)Year-end bonusesCompany VehicleTraining
Preferred Skills & Experience:
5 years experience in the Marine Electrical & Electronics fieldABYC Electrical Certification, NMEA Certification, Manufacturer Specific Trainings / certificationsStrong troubleshooting skills, and electrical theoretical knowledge and calculationsHydraulic SystemsMust have and understand how to use power and hand toolsAbility to understand and produce electrical drawingsPersonable and able to communicate with customers and co-workersPhysically fit and able to work in tight spaces onboard vesselsProficient with the use of computersProgramming (ladder logic, structured text, etc.)Familiar with general marine installation and wiring practices such as understanding best hardware mounting practices, waterproofing, chafe protection, cleanliness
Types of jobs typically performed:
