The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine systems and equipment maintenance, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various marine vessels and their components, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in marine vessels. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete repairs. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment effectively. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vessel. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vessel’s condition and necessary repairs. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment as needed. Skills Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers. Ability to read and interpret schematics for various marine systems. Experience with soldering and electrical repairs is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance principles is beneficial.
