Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Marine Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in outboard engines and a proven ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems . Hands-on experience with Yamaha, Suzuki, and Mercury engines is essential. This is a full-time position that includes work both at our service facility and on-site at vessel locations. You will be expected to troubleshoot and repair marine systems with efficiency and precision. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, maintain, and repair outboard engines (Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury) Evaluate mechanical and electrical marine systems Troubleshoot engine and system malfunctions Service and repair steering and hydraulic systems Replace worn or damaged engine parts Conduct regular engine inspections and preventative maintenance Document all service and repair work accurately Travel to vessel locations for on-site diagnostics and repair Qualifications Solid experience with outboard engine systems and components Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical marine issues Experience with Yamaha, Suzuki, and Mercury engines required Knowledge of marine hydraulic and steering systems Ability to work independently and on-location Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Certifications in marine engine repair (preferred but not required)

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay:

$25 – $35/hour (based on qualifications and experience)
