Are you a Ship Superintendent, Port Engineer or Chief Engineer looking for a leadership role where you’ll be trusted with major project ownership and fast-tracked into executive management?
On offer is a rare opportunity to take the lead on high-profile ship repair and conversion projects, grow into a key leadership figure, and be part of an organisation that genuinely invests in your long-term career development.
This company has a long-standing reputation in complex marine repairs, mechanical systems, steelwork and coatings. They are known for delivering large-scale, technically challenging projects for clients across a wide range of vessels. With ongoing investment into training, resources, and internal promotion, they’re committed to developing future leaders from within.
In this role, you will be the central figure in coordinating multi-trade repair projects-working closely with estimating, production, quality, and client reps. You’ll oversee contractors, track progress, and take full accountability for project delivery, quality, safety and schedule.
This role would suit a Ship Superintendent, Port Engineer or Chief Engineer with a background in marine engineering, looking to step into leadership, drive technical delivery, and progress into a executive role.
The Role:
Take the lead on projects from planning to close-out
Manage coordination of multi-skilled teams and subcontractors
Liaise directly with clients, port engineers, and internal leadership
Maintain safety, scheduling, and budget alignment on all projects
The Person:
Ship Superintendent, Port Engineer, or Senior Engineer from a marine background
Experience with project planning, subcontractor coordination, and multi-discipline teams
Strong communicator with a leadership mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
