The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for working with marine equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various marine systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our clients. The Marine Technician will work closely with other technicians and service personnel to deliver high-quality service. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine vessels. Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, electrical systems, and other marine equipment. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assessments of equipment performance. Operate hand tools and testing equipment to complete repairs effectively. Conduct inspections of marine systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of service performed on each vessel. Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest marine technology and repair techniques. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic in the marine industry is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in sheet blue print, diagrams and electrical systems. Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools is essential. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment while adhering to industry standards.
