The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical work and vehicle maintenance, with a passion for marine technology. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various marine vessels and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in marine engines and systems. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of marine vessels. Assemble and disassemble components using precision measuring instruments. Utilize power tools effectively for repairs and installations. Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications. Interpret schematics to understand the layout of systems and components. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vessel’s needs. Assist with sales of parts and services as necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic or technician in the marine industry or related field. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures. Proficiency in using power tools and precision measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
