Small Engine Mechanic Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Job Description:

The small engine technician is responsible for the repair andmaintenance of a variety of equipment with a focus on 2-stroke andStihl equipment. Candidate will be required to demonstrate avariety of skills from basic mechanical to complex technicaldiagnostics of modern computerized systems. Must be able to provideown basic tool kit. Must be able to navigate product supportsoftware, computer programs for work order maintenance and writereports for customers invoicing. Will be required to exercise goodcustomer relations and handle customer complaints as well asmaintain working relationship with fellow employees. Must alwaysfollow safety practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routinemaintenance on small engine equipment (Stihl equipment, Hondaequipment, pressure washers, push mowers, riding lawn mowers, UTVs,compact tractors, etc.) Blade sharpening or replacement, changeoil, filters, spindles, belts, etc. Knowledge of parts related tosmall engines (air filter, spark plugs, Belts, etc.) Ability towork with or without power tools.

Job Qualifications:

Mechanicalknowledge, preferably 2 Stroke or Stihl equipment. Strongcommunication skills, great sense of humor preferred Basic DataEntry and write reports Must be able to work in a fast paced,extreme environmental conditions and meet deadlines Team builderSelf-motivated, over achiever
