Boat Rigger Responsibilities:
1. Assemble and rig boats according to specifications provided by manufacturers or customers. 2. Install boat components, such as motors, propellers, transducers, and navigation systems. 3. Ensure proper alignment and balance of boats by adjusting trim tabs, jack plates, and weight distribution. 4. Test and troubleshoot boats for functionality and performance issues. 5. Conduct rigging inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. 6. Maintain inventory of boat components and request necessary supplies. 7. Collaborate with service technicians to resolve mechanical or electrical issues. 8. Provide customer training on boat rigging, including proper use and maintenance of equipment. 9. Assist in boat deliveries, including loading and securing boats onto trailers. 10. Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. 11. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols. 12. Attend training sessions and stay updated on new boat models, rigging techniques, and industry trends. 13. Collaborate with sales representatives to provide technical assistance and recommendations to customers. 14. Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner. 15. Travel to customer sites for boat rigging installations or repairs, when required.
