Small Engine Technician Back Creek Ag, LLC 1904 Lake Lucas Road, Sophia, NC 27350 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in servicing small engines, including those found in outdoor power equipment, automotive repair, and diesel engines. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair small engines, including but not limited to lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various types of small engines to ensure optimal performance. Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all repair processes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs, maintenance options, and recommendations. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and improve overall customer satisfaction. Assist in heavy lifting of equipment as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in a dealership or repair shop environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diesel engine repair preferred. Familiarity with electrical systems related to small engines is a plus. Proficiency in using various power tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. A valid driver’s license is preferred for potential on-site service calls or equipment transport.
