ABOUT THE POSITION
Tire Installation Specialists function as part of the Parts and Service teams and are responsible for tire installation and replacement of pneumatic and solid rubber tires on various types of equipment. In this role, you will: Tire Installation at various customer locations per manufacturer specifications and industry best practices along with replacing faulty parts and testing the equipment to ensure proper traction and adequate control for safe operation. Provide Customer Support in assessing customers’ needs for additional necessary tire replacement, keeping the customer informed and answering questions regarding the products and services. Managing Time Efficiently by planning and organizing the day’s workload based on sales orders/parts availability and taking inventory for stock replacement as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification due to vehicle requirements Ability to obtain forklift certification Ability to safely use tire installation equipment Ability to read and understand proper installation and repair of tires High School Diploma or equivalency
SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS MAY INCLUDE
Prior experience with tire installation/replacement Having general knowledge of operating various types of equipment Technical aptitude for light equipment repairs Above-average communication skills Ability to read and understand proper installation and repair of tires

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
This position: will be working in operating facilities and outdoors, traveling to customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply. will be frequently working on equipment with potential hazards where appropriate safety equipment and practices are required. must be able to lift 50 pounds. Occasionally may be required to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds. Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds. requires standing, walking, twisting, climbing, and crawling. requires bending, stooping, kneeling, or squatting handling/fingering on a daily basis. requires driving a van/truck to and from customer locations must be able to wear safety glasses and safety shoes. requires driving a truck to and from customer locations while pulling a trailer. Must be able to connect to the trailer and disconnect from the trailer without help from others. must be medically capable of performing all aspects of the job with the maximum amount of safety. This position is deemed a Safety Sensitive job for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and the Louisiana Therapeutic Marijuana Act.
