This role is vital in providing assistance to motorists in distress, ensuring their safety and getting them back on the road as quickly as possible. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance, along with the ability to effectively use hand and power tools. Responsibilities Respond promptly providing timely support to stranded motorists. Perform basic vehicle repairs on-site, including tire changes, deliver the mount tire back to the vehicle and install it. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to diagnose and repair vehicle issues. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the service vehicle. Document all services performed and maintain accurate records of work completed. Communicate clearly with customers to explain the services provided and any further recommendations for vehicle maintenance. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
