Company service truck with fuel card and cell phone to use for service calls.
General Description:
Repair and replace commercial and large equipment tires, perform fleet checks, and perform minor service and repairs on commercial customer vehicles.
Duties Include:
- Remove, install, rotate, balance and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires in shop.
- Mount/dismount, install new or used tires.
- Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality and overall health of the tire.
- Check air pressure, repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
- Operate balancer and complete wheel alignments.
- Complete tire rotations; reset TPMS when needed.
- Complete work orders and related paperwork.
- Load/unload tires from delivery trucks.
- Maintain, set up tire racks, organize, and clean shop and equipment.
- Assist customers and other co-workers as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Physical Demands / Work Environment
