Job Description •We strongly encourage women and individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply!•DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for a responsible, motivated, and skilled General Highway Laborer with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for performing various highway maintenance tasks, including traffic control set-ups, cleaning, and tree/brush removal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks, such as bridge cleaning, tree cutting, and vegetation removal. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment. Set up and take down temporary traffic control systems daily. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. Operate company vehicles as required. Use all equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Experience:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid drivers license with at least 5 years of clean driving history. ATSSA Traffic Control Certification (can be provided by the company if not already certified). Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds. Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Capable of driving a box truck or similar vehicle. Comfortable and capable of working from various heights. Experience with landscaping and weed whacking is required.
