Job Description
Traffic Control Flagger Atlas Traffic Control National Hill, PA 15031 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing traffic flow on construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. The Traffic Controller will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and safe working environment. Responsibilities Direct traffic around construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians. Conduct utility locating to prevent damage to underground services during construction activities. Collaborate with construction teams to establish safe work zones and implement traffic control measures. Monitor site conditions and adjust traffic patterns as necessary to maintain safety and efficiency. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site operations and any potential hazards. Stand for long periods of time. Lift up to 50lbs Skills Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety regulations. Ability to perform utility locating tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and directing traffic. Detail-oriented with strong observational skills to identify potential hazards on-site.
