The ideal candidate will have experience in various maintenance tasks, particularly in construction and heavy equipment operation. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. Duties Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, bulldozers, backhoes, and graders for various maintenance tasks. Perform utility locating to ensure safe digging practices on construction sites. Assist in building and paving projects as required. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery is preferred. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations is essential. Proven ability to perform utility locating and understand its importance in maintenance tasks. Experience in building, paving, and general maintenance duties will be considered an asset. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
