TRAFFIC CONTROL CREW LEADER 3.2 3.2
out of 5 stars 1420 Whiting Way, Lugoff, SC 29078 The Traffic Control Crew Leader is responsible for providing traffic management services for construction projects and overseeing the flagging crew. This position is responsible for controlling traffic in and around construction work zones according to established procedures and policies to ensure a safe and efficient work site for all internal and external workers and the public Columbia/Lugoff AREA Setting up flagging operations, including advanced warning signs, and flagging traffic. Supplementing crews who need additional flaggers due to intersections or busy road ways. Installing and maintaining lane closures on a variety of roadways. Moving equipment. IE Message boards, arrow boards, crash trucks, light towers, cones, etc. Installing permanent construction signs (occasionally).
NIGHT WORK IS OFTEN REQUIRED.
This position demands long days—as traffic control is often the first one on a job site and the last to leave.
