Traffic Controller 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Columbia, SC 29201 Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking Traffic Controllers to fill openings with a local construction company located in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidates should be able to work in the heat or cold and be able to stand for long periods of time. Requirements of the Traffic Controllers
- High School diploma or GED
- Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in hot or cold environments
- Near vision and ability to see details at close range

- Setup, maintain and remove temporary work zones including warning signs, traffic cones and stop slow paddles
- Communicate clearly between team members to ensure safety

- Guide traffic and pedestrians safely through and around the work area
- Keep equipment and materials neat, clean and orderly at all times
