About The Role Axiom Builders is seeking a dedicated and observant Traffic Control Person to join our team, you will be responsible for executing Traffic Management Plans, directing vehicles and pedestrians safely around active sites, and maintaining clear communication with team members to ensure smooth operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help us deliver Axiom Builders’ first development in Nashville seamlessly and securely. Key Responsibilities Protect the safety of the work crew and the public by directing motor and pedestrian traffic; Prepare and set-up all traffic plans and lane closures, including appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites; Informing and coordinating all incoming and outgoing deliveries; Adhere to all Axiom Builders Health and Safety policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, PPE and clothing appropriate for the elements; Assist in the professional response of public complaints. What You Bring The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and work effectively as part of a team. You are able to demonstrate sound knowledge of traffic regulations and ability to use hand signals and direction signs to coordinate traffic around road construction sites. Skills and Experience At least two (2) years of previous experience in flagging or traffic control; Valid Traffic Control Person certification; Excellent observation and communication skills. Willing to perform additional tasks other than traffic management. Open to opportunities and growth within the company through other positions. What’s In It For You?
