To construct strandinfrastructure and lash fiber cables to strand. Principal dutiesand

Responsibilities:

• Operating bucket truck as well as otherequipment related to aerial fiber construction
• Understand how toproficiently set up the job (strand trailer, fiber trailer andcaddies)
• Understand clearances from the other utilities, ground,road, highway, sidewalk and nonpedestrian areas
• Knowledge andability to properly frame poles according to industryspecifications
• Ability to lash/over-lash single and multiplecable bundles of fiber cables
• Ability to read and interpretnetwork prints
• Ability to safely climb poles using gaffs orladders
• Understand and follow OSHA safety requirements tocomplete the job(s) safely and efficiently
• Communicate by phonefrequently throughout the work day
• Follow direction(s)specifically delivered from crew leader
• Performs other duties asassigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or itsequivalent
• Combination of technical training and/or experience
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Previous experience in aconstruction environment preferred
• Must be able to meet physicalrequirement of the position
• Must be able to work nights andweekends, if necessary
• Must be able to work in all weatherconditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must beauthorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to passdrug, background, DOT & MVR screenings (This is not a completelisting of all duties and responsibilities.
